Faucet and First-Time Funding

Fund gas, create margin, deposit testnet vUSD, and prepare an account for perpetual trading.

Veyronn funding flow

Veyronn separates wallet assets from protocol margin:

  1. Testnet ETH remains in the wallet and pays gas.
  2. Test vUSD is the ERC-20 collateral used by the current testnet deployment.
  3. Free margin is vUSD credited to the wallet's Veyronn account.
  4. Reserved margin backs open positions until they are reduced, closed, or liquidated.

Funding sequence

The Faucet page guides the wallet through the required state transitions:

  • create the Veyronn margin account
  • mint test vUSD
  • deposit vUSD into free margin
  • optionally authorize a bounded automation session

The faucet can mint testnet vUSD and credit the beneficiary's margin account in one guided flow, so a new wallet can move directly from network setup to its first perpetual trade.

Withdrawals

Only free collateral can be withdrawn. Collateral reserved by an open position must first be released by reducing or closing that position. Realized PnL and fees are applied to account state before the remaining amount becomes withdrawable.
